How to Mend a Broken Heart: Day 7
FRIENDS! We all need friends. They can hold our hands, give us a shoulder to cry on and the ear we need to bend to hear our troubles. They are the warm hugs when we need it the most.
We’ve all heard that we are the average of the 5 people we surround ourselves with…Who are your closest friends? Who is in your Top 5? How do you feel after hanging out with them? Energized? Drained?
We tend to gravitate towards certain people…but are those the friends that support you? Make you feel good? Are really there for you when you need them?
I can tell you that when I moved 5 states from everything I’ve ever known I had to make new friends….AND it took TIME! I wanted to be sure I was inviting quality friends into my life. I wanted to surround myself with friends that I truly loved and respected.
I truly love all my old friends and I’m so grateful to have the new ones in my life. This past week I’ve needed my friends and they’ve been there, every step of the way.
When was the last time you took a look at your friend list? Your friends should bring out the best in you. And they can definitely help you heal a broken heart.
I can tell you that one of my friends has had dinner with me, several times, worked out, danced and just listened to me cry this past week. I don’t think I’ve gone a day without her support and encouragement. She also gives the best advise. Choose wisely, my peeps.
As always, I’m a phone call away….the first call is ALWAYS complimentary and helping YOU build your solid foundation, find your silver linings and live a life full of gratitude is what my life purpose is all about!
Peace, LOVE and Silver Linings, peeps!
